This pirate needs no introduction… oh, wait, yes, yes he does… *ahem* introducing Captain Jack Sparrow (that’s ‘captain’, savvy? Remember that). LOL!

Recently, after watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest for the umpteenth time, I suddenly remembered that I had this sketch still stuffed away somewhere, never seeing the light of day. After raiding Davy Jones’ Locker, I finally came across it again. So, here be Captain Jack Sparrow, a sketch that I produced around the time that the first movie came out (so some details to Jack’s costume will have changed now… I note the baldric he wears as being one of them… Bleh!)

Not much else to say about this apart from… ‘Why’s the rum gone?!’

Why is the rum always gone?!? hehe, this is awesome! Cap'n Jack is THE coolest pirate to sail the seas! Such an awesome picture, and all that detail! I need to watch Pirates 2 again, my family just bought it.

Btw, yeah, the 'nose'! At the time, I had a thing for drawing long noses... longer than they should be anyway. I always knew the nose thing would come back to haunt me. :XD:
