This, basically, was created as a guide for myself; an updated colour and detail concept for Lancelot which is pretty aged now but still nice as a piece of art. Naturally, my characters are constantly changing every time I draw them, so its nice to remind myself of their basic traits every now and then in an attempt to slow down the process of unregistered refinement. Lance has a habit of looking older than he should do each time I draw him, so this was my attempt to make his features look more youthful (ok, so that may sound strange considering hes an anthropomorphic character, but there you go). Nothing more to say other than it has splats. Splat fun!
I like how you've refined it at the top of the piece but let it get more and more sketchy as it progresses into the bottom of the picture... Topping off the effect with a nice ink splatter of messy goodness.
I hope this isn't sexist or anything, but I've noticed that women in art tend to be more creative and artistic in general, while guys are all pretty much about mechanical design. I wish I was a female... *whimper*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
