Artist's Comments

This, basically, was created as a guide for myself; an updated colour and detail concept for Lancelot which is pretty aged now but still nice as a piece of art. Naturally, my characters are constantly changing every time I draw them, so it’s nice to remind myself of their basic traits every now and then in an attempt to slow down the process of unregistered refinement. Lance has a habit of looking older than he should do each time I draw him, so this was my attempt to make his features look more youthful (ok, so that may sound strange considering he’s an anthropomorphic character, but there you go). Nothing more to say other than it has splats. Splat fun!

Weird is good.

Heh heh, yeah, I think one is too long and one is too short.

Hmmm... *tries to think of the benefits of having long-short arms*Nope, can't think of any! =)

maybe he can have really long arms and really short legs. Then he can be the best ET for Halloween.

ET scares the hell out of me. I've got to be one of the few people who didn't like that film.

Lol, I saw it when I was like four year old and cried so they had to turn it off. HA... good time!
:iconcrystalpearl:
It reminds me so much at him [link] but it isin't.I love how you have made him to stand out in this

I like how you've refined it at the top of the piece but let it get more and more sketchy as it progresses into the bottom of the picture... Topping off the effect with a nice ink splatter of messy goodness.

I hope this isn't sexist or anything, but I've noticed that women in art tend to be more creative and artistic in general, while guys are all pretty much about mechanical design. I wish I was a female... *whimper*

LOL! I just didn't like the way he looked, or the noise he made.

They can give him big soppy eyes, but he still looks scary!
