Erik… Phantom of the Paris Opera House… the Opera Ghost… musical genius… maker of trap-doors and amazing yet hurtful things that make you go ouch… he’s also a kind of Don Juan don’t you know! *Pokes* (ROFL! Ahahahahaha!!! :lmao:)

Ooookay, well it came to my attention that I haven’t painted anything traditionally recently, and as I’ve been swooning over the works of illustrators (such as the amazing Paul Kidby) who paint incredibly realistic character art using acrylic paints alone, I thought I’d give it a go. This is what I came up with… and… my scanner killed it as usual. D’oh! *Punjabs it*

Btw, if his face makes you want to run and hide, maybe this version will make you happier: [link] ;)

I am there when darkness falls...
I am there when light arises anew...
I am there when your life has ended...
I am there when your soul will burn.

I see the demons of your hell.
I kiss the angels of your despair.

Amazing, that's what you are. AMAZING.

I have so much love for this piece it isn't even funny. I love his eyes. They're so intense, I could just look at them all day. And I love the way his skin sort of drapes and stretches over his bones.

Wait...that sounds morbid. But it's true.

wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
