Playmates

I was going to post this on Halloween, but, well, I was impatient!

No, not really, I joke! The truth is, I’ve had an idea for another ‘spooky’ piece, and I only hope that I’ll be able to make it on time (and if not, well, everybody feel free to poke me with sticks for being so slow).

The idea for this piece came from a passage I read in a book recently. It was about body snatchers, and to quote from the page; “One man testified that he had given his own daughter the skeleton of a child to play with in place of a doll”. The thought was compelling enough to have inspired this piece.

So here’s the haunted little girl with her gruesome playmate. There’s a little bit of Alice in here, among other things, and it all adds up to quite a tasty macabre mix!
