Shades of Red and Gold Feather

Once again, this is a belated gift for another talented friend of mine Kat!
She has always been such a wonderful and supportive friend, and so I wanted to do something special for her.

Her character Fox is painted on a tiny woodcock wing feather and backed with a golden pheasant ‘fire-tip’ feather. These are fixed to a small coil that has been threaded onto a length of light tan suede lace and finished off with wooden beads. As an added touch and as Kat’s character has an interest in alchemy / all sorts of bubbly bottles and natural medicines etc… (hee hee), I’ve added a layer of gold leaf to the top of the piece.

So there you go, I hope you like it Kat!
