Just a quick thing I needed a new icon for FA and thought I would try something different. The result was this, a speedily painted image created using blocks of colour and relentless scribbling!
Ive always been astounded by the digital artists out there who are able to paint using colour alone. They somehow manage to mould seemingly shapeless blobs into amazingly detailed works of art. To do this they must have a very good grasp of colour theory.
Personally, Ive become used to working with a scanned sketch as a guide, but I must admit that Im keen to try other methods that say goodbye to the original line work at the end of the painting process or dont use it at all. I suppose its all just a matter of taste and technique. You either under paint or over paint. It just depends on what you feel comfortable with.
ehehe! He's so cool. He's so awesome. You are awesome. I just love that hair.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
